Monday Club: July/August plan
The summer adjustment to focus on products and pitches. Technical demos another day.
The latest podcast is out and it’s with, Anwaar, a student who is building a financial tool with AI. He has a growing customer list and a founding story that I think with resonate with many of you. Short version: I built a tool that I wanted and other people wanted it too. Have a listen.
The summer adjustment for Monday Club
In June the Monday Club had just under 100 people attend which was double who came out in May! Thank you all for that. We had a mix of both technical demos and product/startup demos. For the summer we will separate them and keep Mondays to startup product demos and start having technical demos another day.
What does that mean?
View Monday’s (Tuesday next week) as an opportunity to practice your product demo and get feedback. This isn’t just about VC pitches but how you tell the story of your product. It can be very early ideas or something you have been working on for a while and might feel stuck.
Founders need to practice talking about their products. This is your chance to do that with no judgment or evaluation… just people wanting to help. Think of it as open and collaborative office hours.
The goal is to help you get moving. Sign up here.
Technical Wednesdays
This will also start next week. It is a lunchtime demo that is focused on technical demos that are in the same spirit as Monday Club but people are going to get into how they are building something.
You can sign up for that here.
Podcasts will continue
This month there will be three podcasts coming out and I hope to record more early product stories soon. The stories are meant to both give you an idea of who is building in the community and be something that captures a moment in time for founders who are going to grow and change as they find success.

How Monday Club works:
Demo time will be at 12:oo pm (on Tuesday, July 9th).
Demo time is a mix of meeting new people, talking about stuff, and someone doing a demo. We like to talk about products—especially early ones.
That’s it.
If you are going to attend, RSVP here.
Big thanks to Communitech for all the support!
