Monday Club: Monday April 8th (Eclipse day)
Emergencies have been declared, airbnb's are fully booked, and the best AI images are made... eclipse day. The Friday option is going to be exercised.
This past Monday we recorded two podcasts (they were fun!) and I did a demo of the no-code tools I have been using with Airtable. With Softr and the student sign-ups for the StartupBarn space at Communitech, I pulled together an account management tool with authentication in around 3 hours. Even added it to a domain. On the free version. We talked a bit about all the other tools available out there and how much you can get done without coding.
This Monday we are going to use the “Friday option” and not try and get folks together when a) the school board surprised many of us with a kids-at-home day and b) see the comic below.
I am not going to compete with the sun AND the moon for anyone’s attention.
Eclipse info
The latest and greatest path of darkness puts the best viewing just south of the 403 to the Lake Erie shoreline. You probably won’t want to just stick around KW.
For the official info: NASA website for the event.
Process update
I am going to simplify things a little here. To join MondayClub you just need to be on the substack. To attend lunch on any given Monday (or Friday this week), please use the RSVP link in housekeeping. I deactivated the lookup on names in the RSVP and will just ask you to put your name in.
Also, new membership levels are out for Communitech. It should be pretty clear now how you can join as a free member under the ‘Founder Connect’ spot.

Please feel free to share this with your friends!
How Monday Club works:
Demo time will be at 12:oo pm in the Jellybean room (on Friday, April 12th).
Demo time is a mix of meeting new people, talking about stuff, and someone doing a demo. We like to talk about products. Especially early ones.
That’s it.
If you just want to come for the lunch. RSVP here.
Check out the March community update! (it is a good one)
